Lynda Barber (neeBrennan) a Native Australian living in Canada. 

As a seasoned Song-Leader/Artist crafting songs from writing, performing and self producing her music she is on a mission to spread good news of the gospel in Spirit & Truth. 

  Lynda's deeply 'spiritual encounters' as a child led her on a journey to capture songs from the heart of heaven. 

Learning guitar on a left-handed Vintage 1970's Hummingbird acoustic and her classical piano background inspired and propelled her into the world of songwriting and producing.

This unique Song Artists vocals showcase the missional message with a stunning blend of Singer/Songwriter style.

This songbird doesn't stop at music. Lynda tells her story filled with hope and how she overcame many addictions from loneliness, freedom from New Age practices and Childhood abuse.  Her testimony is unique and a must to here.  

Prisons, Churches, Communities have welcomed her compelling message for all ages to hear this story from shame to Victory.

Lynda is currently focused on her new music project Inspired by her personal testimony of deliverance from childhood trauma and Alcohol addiction. 

A set of songs based on healing, freedom & miracles!

  These songs are divinely soulful anthems with memorable chorus hooks. Her effortless vocals take center-stage as she sings intimately to soothe the weary searching soul. Melodic driven rhythms with combined wistful  loops and beats keep you hooked. 

The Mission

 To see the captives set free!! In these uncertain times where chaos is all around. Jesus is right in the centre waiting to bring His Children home. The Music is Barbers way of sharing love and truth to all who have ears to hear!

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Lyndas Pentecostal roots propelled her into starting her first band at age 14.  Inspiration inevitably grew to becoming a Song Leader

 ( worship leader)  at A small Bethel Pentecostal Church in Adelaide, South Australia and later a Music Director for Southland Vineyard       ( John Wimber style )  Pasadena for several years. 

MUSICAL MISSION

Her missional work was Inspired greatly by Jackie Pullinger to  pursue Music focused projects / fundraisers to raise monies for the homeless and youth.  Rural local mission trips with Author / Professor Graham Buxton, Tabor College during her teacher college days.

HIGHLIGHTS

More highlights as  Music Leader for The Washington Prayer Breakfast leaders retreat held in Adelaide.  Singing with  Anaheim Vineyard Worship Leader Andy Park, and also performing the "Australian National Anthem"  for the  Prime-Minister, John Howard.

Lynda Barber then burst onto the Original Band scene in Australia, her fast tracking and rave reviews with her song "Escaping The Asylum" on radio received attention as a Singer-Songwriter performing in local clubs and Folk Festivals for several years. DB music magazine, Adelaide, Australia writes...

Surrrendering THE GIFT BACK TO GOD

Canada  became inspiration for Lyndas  third CD Project "Soar"   and she was a Guest Stratford Idol Judge 2010--for  young  Justin Bieber (before he was signed) 

Although her Godly values and conviction about the music secular industry remains strong and is not in support of Hollywoods influence of Music Artists.  Barber's  Journey of reconciling the gifts and talents God gave led her back to Song Leading 

( worship leader ) in Churches and Womens retreats, Various Christian events in Ontario, Canada.
